It\u2019s the universal feedback loop<\/strong> for anyone daring<\/strong> to stand out<\/strong>.
Gary Vaynerchuk<\/strong> got the same treatment years ago. Every speakers bureau told him the same thing:
\u201cYou\u2019re talented.\u201d
\u201cYou\u2019ve got something to say.\u201d
\u201cBut\u2026 could you please stop wearing sneakers?\u201d

One time, they even refused to let him on stage because he wasn\u2019t wearing dress shoes.

Fast forward 15 years\u2026
That same guy<\/strong> now speaks on stages across the world<\/strong>.

Still in sneakers<\/strong>.
Still in a t-shirt<\/strong>.
Still cursing.

Not him.

I get it, though.
I used to wear suits too.

And to be honest, it made sense at the time: it gave me confidence, structure and control.
Until one day it didn\u2019t.

So I ditched the uniform.

And ironically, ten years later, I\u2019ve started to enjoy wearing suits again.
Not because I have to but because I\u00a0want<\/strong>\u00a0to.

Authenticity isn\u2019t about what you wear it\u2019s about\u00a0why<\/strong>\u00a0you wear it. When you stay true<\/strong> to yourself long enough, the world eventually adjusts<\/strong> its dress code to match yours<\/strong>.
